Event Details: Begun in October 2015, the Makerfest is an experimental, experiential, educational, and FREE annual community event, a celebration of creativity and imagination that's part MythBusters, part science lab, part county fair, and part art studio. It consists of 70-100 maker booths, to LearningSpaces for workshops, an EdTalk stage, a Roborena, and -- new for 2017-- the first Jersey Shore Hackathon, the Toms River United Sustainability Team (TRUST) Green Fair, and activities supporting the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read of the post pandemic novel Station Eleven. Over 200 makers and 8000 attendees joined us in our first two years. Come be part of the fun!

Join your colleagues for hands-on interactive and engaging Google For Education sessions presented by Google Certified Teachers and Trainers, School Administrators, Migration Specialists and Classroom Teachers. Eduscape is one of only three nationally Google Certified Training Organizations in the country. The focus of the Google Summit is to educate, enable and show educators the benefits of using Google for Education to help your district meet Common Core State Standards and help students become 21st century learners.
We will offer tracks for Teachers, School Administrators, Librarians and School IT Managers. Each participant will leave the summit with useful ideas and tools that they can implement within their school and/or district.

Google Boot Camp is a two-day course meant to prepare participants to earn the Google Educator Level 1 Certification. Participants will receive an overview of Google's certification process, examine current education concepts, and participate in a series of hands-on missions that will simulate tasks needed to pass the exams. Participants that successfully complete the course will be prepared to take the Educator Level 1 exam.
NOTE: This course is designed to help educators already using Google improve their use of Google tools to advance learning in the classroom.
