Event Details: NJIT's College of Science and Liberal Arts is excited to host a College and Career Day Event for High School juniors interested in STEM disciplines, and teachers. The event, co-hosted by Future Ready Schools - NJ, will focus on such topics as how to prepare for college, what students learn in college in various disciplines and the associated career opportunities, how to succeed in college, leadership skills experiences useful for successful careers, and more!

Students will have the opportunity to meet in small groups (in a speed dating format) with college students, faculty and staff as well as representatives of various corporations and organizations.

Students will experience demonstrations of cutting edge research, participate in hands-on activities, and learn about campus student organizations.

Teachers will earn professional development hours in a concurrent program focused on STEM topics.
