This four-day institute explores the crucial relationship between the humanities and social justice. Drawing on visual art, literature, and history, the faculty workshop leaders will explore strategies for understanding, critiquing, and challenging injustice and inequality. Participants will come away from the institute with practical lesson plans, classroom activities, and student project ideas that support the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
