Event Details: Welcome to the 4th Annual SRI&ETTC Middle & High School Social Studies Conference. This years theme,Social Studies Strong, is a celebration of the primary importance of social studies in helping our students develop the ability to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good as citizens of a democratic society. This years conference will include a keynote speaker, panel discussion, and breakout sessions. Strands will be available for a variety of social studies disciplines. The integration of technology, use of primary sources, and strategies for effective social studies teaching will be offered. Various social studies resources and materials will be shared with the participants. Please join us Thursday, February 22, 2018 as you network with colleagues, participate in discussions, and celebrate our subject at ,Social Studies Strong.
