Event Details: Issues of public health, environmental justice and community development are ideally suited to help your students connect topics in science with social challenges that impact their lives. In this workshop participants will learn basic perspectives of environmental justice and discusses topics and projects in public health and sustainability that can help your students see greater purpose and application of topics in the sciences, or help incorporate health and science into your social science curriculum.
The Health, Justice and Sustainable Communities workshop will be presented by Maritza Jauregui, Associate Professor of Sustainability at Stockton University.
