Event Details: Participants will learn about the opioid epidemic and its impact on public schools as well as the work of the Governor's Task Force on Drug Abuse Control. Participants will receive information on best practices related to drug and alcohol abuse prevention, response, awareness, collaboration with law enforcement, discipline and counseling. Participants will hear from expert presenters from the New Jersey Prevention Network and the Association of Student Assistant Professionals of New Jersey. Participants will receive information on the latest research and best practices being used in New Jersey school districts.
